Rebel Loop Studios has had the pleasure of producing and shooting a live music session with Danko, a 4-piece rock and roll band hailing from Falkirk, Scotland. We collaborated with 23rd Precinct Music and Distiller Records to ensure that the content created was in line with both the band and label’s vision. This was our third production with the band, having previously produced and shot 2 music videos on location. Danko decided to go for a more raw and authentic approach to being filmed, planning for a stripped back live session that would showcase four of their tracks, including some new unreleased material. With plans to increase their online presence and broaden their audience, this was an excellent opportunity to bring Danko’s live energy without attending a concert physically.

Having researched and explored various venues around Glasgow, we came across Strange Fields, a visionary artist-led visual arts charity based in the East End, a short distance from Rebel Loop Studios . The venue, French Street, was industrial and spacious which the band agreed was a perfect space for the intimate performance we aimed to capture. We aim to capture the highest quality audio on all of our productions, and we worked with Nadar of Blue Audio Ltd, a sound engineer we opt to use on all live productions to balance and enhance each performance with a rich, dynamic sound. On all shoots we work with broadcast cameras and cinema lenses, shooting videos in C-LOG and RAW image files for more creative control in the post production phase of the project. Our team used a follow focus setup with multiple cameras allowing for coverage of all angles and all members of the band.

On location we shoot photo and video in tandem ensuring a cohesive look throughout , saving you both time and money.

We are not only a high end video production company, but we are skilled in creating content and being able to promote this across multiple channels with targeted ads. On shoots we are capable of dual shooting video and photography – allowing us to produce behind the scenes promotion packages and content reels for social channels. As part of our creative team, we always have a photographer to capture press style images and behind the scenes content.
